Apparently, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli is a very happy man at the moment. And why not, he has got every reason to smile as two of his young lieutenants, namely Sarafraz Khan and Mandeep Singh, have done really well for their team in last two matches. The latest batting sensation, Mandeep Singh, became the hero of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in Bangalore on Saturday. The 23 year old had performed really well through his impressive stint of 18 balls 45 runs vital contribution. This included 3 sixes and 4 boundaries.

Earlier, on 29th March he had given a contribution of 27 runs in a match against Rajasthan Royals. After the victory for RCB on Saturday, they switched on to a celebration mode and in the process, the whole team, including captain Virat Kohli, smudged Mandeep’s face with cake. It was also learnt that Chris Gayle,  Mandeep Singh and Virat Kohli had a dancing session as well.

A jubilant Virat kohli said, “That’s how we roll. Last game, it was Sarfaraz (Khan), this time Mandeep. I’m the proudest captain right now”.

Also Mandeep Singh expressed his happiness and said “It’s a dream come true”.

Another young and upcoming team mate of Mandeep, Yuzvendra Chahal was the first one to smash Mandeep’s face on the cake. Later, Captain Virat Kohli was seen feeding him a piece.

It is heartening to see the young cricketers performing well in the IPL as they can become a part of a strong bench strength for Team India in near future.
