ICC Announces FTP Cycle 2023-27: Team India’s Full Schedule For 2023-27 Cycle

The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Wednesday (August 17), announced the schedule for the 2023-27 cycle of Future Tour Program. The governing body of the game has announced the full schedule of international cricket, including ICC events and bilateral international series for the 12 full members. During the upcoming cycle a total of 777 international games – 173 Tests, 281 ODIs and 323 T20Is – will take place.

In the ongoing FTP cycle, a total of 694 games are there. The next FTP cycle will include next two cycles of the ICC Men’s World Test Championship, multiple ICC events and a host of bilateral as well as tri-series action. Talking about Team India, they will play a total of 38 Tests, 42 ODIs and 61 T20Is. India’s cycle begins with the tour of West Indies next July.

One of the major highlights of the next  FTP are the two sets of five-match Border-Gavaskar Test series in each of the upcoming cycles of the ICC World Test Championship. India and Australia had last played a five-match Test series way back in 1992.
