Australia’s captain, Aaron Finch has made a jump of 12 positions in the latest update of ICC ODI Rankings. Finch, who had a stellar series against Pakistan with 451 runs in the series, has acquired the joint ninth position in the batsmen rankings, with Shai Hope. In fact, Finch was struggling for his form in the recent past however his roaring run against Pakistan will do him a world of good. Finch scored two fifties and two centuries with a stunning average of 112.75.
Meanwhile, Australia obliterated Pakistan by 5-0 in the bilateral series which was played in the UAE. Usman Khawaja, who was Man of the series against India, made a jump of six positions to claim the 19th position in the ICC ODI rankings. The southpaw had scored 272 runs in the five-match series.
Australia has won eight matches on the trot.
On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell who amassed 258 runs in the series has vaulted by 10 positions to bag the 23rd place. Shaun Marsh has made a jump of three slots to seal the 44th rank after scoring 182 runs.
Adam Zampa and Nathan Coulter-Nile who scalped seven wickets each in the series, has made a move from 49th to 45th position and from 60th to 49th respectively. Furthermore, Jhye Richardson has moved from 49th to 38th rank in the rankings ladder.
Australia continues its domination.
Imad Wasim has made a jump of 16 places to perch at the 68th rank after scoring 141 runs. The southpaw spinner made a leap of seven places to grab the 37th rank in the ICC ODI bowler’s Rankings.

Meanwhile, others to gain for Pakistan comprise Haris Sohail (up 33 places to 58th) and Mohammad Rizwan (up 45 places to 101st) among batsmen. Yasir Shah (up four places to 62nd) and Faheem Ashraf (up nine places to 70th) among bowlers.
