ICC U-19 World Cup 2018: Sachin Tendulkar Hails Indian Colts for Emphatic Win Over Pakistan

After routing Pakistan Under-19 in the ICC’s U-19 World Cup in New Zealand by 203 runs, Indian camp was jubilant, as the legendary batsman, Sachin Tendulkar has lauded the efforts of Prithvi Shaw-led India following Christchurch show while expressing the delight over his Twitter handle.
“Splendid display!,” Tendulkar tweeted on Tuesday.
The 44-year-old batting star Tendulkar has further observed the young talent has a lot on offer in the foreseeable future while remarking they were outstanding owing to the all-round show.
“Quality play with great dominance in all departments,” Tendulkar tweeted.
Moreover, known for his batting prowess, cool and composed nature, Tendulkar wished all the best to the rising stars for the grand final which is slated for February 3 Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui against Jason Sangha-led Australia U-19.

Pertinently, the former teammate of Tendulkar, Dravid has been a force to reckon to instil the confidence among the colts before eyeing the coveted title.
Throwing the challenges at youngsters, Dravid has set a remarkable example and has subsequently been a major key for the success of the youngsters who have already received the praises from the former Pakistan cricketer-turned-commentator, Ramiz Raja.
India’s domination continues in U-19:
So far, in five matches the India-19 team has been indomitable which further saw the unit going into the winning ways with the major contribution at the top both with the ball, and a bat that has been the highlight of the tournament.
Concluding, India U19 team has become the first team to qualify for the sixth final of the ICC’s Youth ODI World Cup, as the ongoing 12th edition kicked off on January 13.
In the opening campaign against Australia, India registered a convincing victory by 100 runs on January 14 at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, before routing Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe by ten wickets each.
Moreover, when India was celebrating the 69th Independence Day, India registered the 131-run win in Queenstown against Bangladesh before thrashing Pakistan at Hagley Oval in the second semi-final clash.
