ICC Women’s T20I Rankings: Smriti Mandhana Moves Into Top Three After Unbeaten Fifty Against Pakistan

India women’s team star Smriti Mandhana has moved up in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Rankings after her impressive batting display against Pakistan in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022. The ICC released the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings after the opening six matches of the Commonwealth Games.

Mandhana has moved into the top three of the rankings after her unbeaten fifty against Pakistani. She began the tournament with a knock of 24 against Australia before slamming an unbeaten 63 against Pakistan. Thanks to those knocks, Mandhana has jumped two spots to take the third spot. Australia stars Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney remain in the top two spots.

Apart from Mandhana, her opening partner Shafali Verma is the only other Indian batter in the top ten of the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings. Verma is currently at the fifth spot. New Zealand’s Suzie Bates is the biggest mover inside the top ten leapfrogging Australia opener Alyssa Healy and Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu into sixth.
