ICC World Cup 2019: New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern Hails Kiwis for Lord’s Show

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern had thoroughly enjoyed the ICC World Cup 2019 finale held at Lord’s on Sunday (July 14). Jacinda had admitted the fact that both teams had played a remarkable cricket which further witnessed players consoling each other apart from the tears of joy.
The heart-racing thriller had gone down the wire with result unfolding on the most number of boundaries.
Meanwhile, Jacinda was glued to her television set in Auckland.
Earlier, New Zealand skipper won the toss and opted to bat first on a surface with turned out to be sluggish surface. However, they post 241 for eight in 50 allotted overs.

Furthermore, Kiwis PM Jacinda had congratulated England for lifting the title. Besides, she expressed delight with the way Black Caps had played the game in the quadrennial event.
“That was undeniably an incredible game. I think as a nation we all aged a year in that super over. Congratulations to England. And to the Black Caps, I feel nothing but pride. What a team,” Ardern added.
