India Title Favorites
Keeping the controversies and movies apart, the current team are looking very strong. Even after Bhuvneshwar Kumar got injured, the Indian bowling looked super good. They managed to rattle Pakistan’s middle order with utmost ease.
Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out of the world cup on Wednesday. Talented Rishabh Pant will take up his place and will be a strong addition to India’s middle order. On the other hand, KL Rahul was pushed to open the innings against Pakistan.
He did a fantastic job against arch rivals and fans will hope to see similar performances from him in the upcoming matches. India are set to take on Afghanistan on Saturday. They started off strongly against some tough teams and can now make a little experimentation if needed.
Mohammad Shami is expected to open the bowling for India in the coming games with Jasprit Bumrah. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is sidelined for at least two matches.
