There has been a lot of debate surrounding Team India’s away jersey in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. But India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun has reinstated that their focus in on the upcoming game against West Indies and not on the colour of the jersey.
We are focusing on the match: Arun
The International Cricket Council has introduced the concept of home and away jersey in this edition of the World Cup. With England being the hosts, India is to wear a different coloured jersey when they go up against each other on June 30. There is no official revelation of the jersey yet, but India is likely to don an orange colour dominated jersey against the hosts.

Bharat Arun; however, stressed that their focus is to concentrate on the game of cricket. He also said that they are not aware of the colour of the jersey for the game against England. Arun also added that they bleed blue and blue will be the dominant colour.
“To be very honest we are not aware of what colours we are going to be wearing, we haven’t given any thought to that and all our focus is only on the match tomorrow. We are focusing on the game and not aware of the colour we are getting. We bleed blue and blue is going to be predominantly the colour that is it,” Bharat Arun said during a pre-match press conference.
The Men in Blues have made a thumping start to their World Cup campaign. They have four games while one was a complete washout against New Zealand. After three convincing wins, they escaped a shocker against Afghanistan managing to beat them by 11 runs. Virat Kohli & Co will aim to keep the winning streak going and take one step closer to the semifinals of the World Cup.
