ICC World Cup 2023: Where To Buy The Tickets From?: The ICC, on Tuesday (June 27), announced the full schedule for the much-awaited ICC World Cup 2023. The upcoming competition will be a special one for India and the Indians fans as the country will host the tournament alone for the first time.
In the past, India had co-hosted ICC World Cup on three occasions. ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to take place from October 5 to November 19. Defending champions England and New Zealand will be up against each other in the inaugural game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final is also scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad.
A total of ten teams are participating in ICC World Cup 2023. Eight of the ten teams have already booked their spots through the World Cup Super League while the final two spots will be determined through the ongoing ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe. The finalists will qualify for the main event.
ICC World Cup 2023 – Tickets:
ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played across 10 venues – Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow. Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram in addition to Hyderabad will host the warm-up matches from September 29 to October 3. Mumbai and Kolkata will host the semifinals.
A total of 48 matches will be played over 46 days across the 10 venues. 42 of the 48 games will be day-night games and will begin at 2:00 PM (IST). The remaining 6 games are day matches and will begin at 10:30 AM(IST).
With the ICC finalising the World Cup dates, cricket enthusiasts from around the world are keen to secure the tickets to watch the much-awaited tournament. The World Cup tickets will be in high demand and the fans will have to secure it as fast as possible to ensure that they manage to see the global cricketing extravaganza from the stands.
