Thousands of fans came to the Oval to support Team India on Thursday (June 8) for the second day of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship final against Australia. And one fan who has caught everyone’s attention is popular YouTuber IShowSpeed.
While he is popular on social media for his reactions on football videos, the content creator has also become very popular among the Indian audience by supporting none other than Virat Kohli. He has reacted to several clips of the former India skipper playing cricket in the past and most of the videos went viral on internet.
And he was in stadium on Thursday to show his support for the cricket superstar. While he has been spotted watching football games from the stadium on a number of occasions, this was probably the first time he attended a cricket match. IShowSpeed was seen wearing Team India’s blue jersey while attending the match at the Oval. In a viral video, he was also seen posing alongside former India spinner Harbhajan Singh.

Unfortunately for IShowSpeed, his favourite player Virat Kohli could not get going with the bat. The right-handed batsman could score only 14 runs before an unplayable delivery from Mitchell Starc ended his knock. Kohli could not do much against a delivery that bounced at the last moment and ended up edging it to Steve Smith in the slip cordon.
Talking about the game, Australia continue to dominate the proceedings in the WTC final. After scoring a huge total of 469 runs, the Pat Cummins-led side have dominated with the ball too. At stumps on day 2, India were on 151 for 5 with Ajinkya Rahane and KS Bharat in the middle.
