On Saturday India will play International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 game against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Perth with the same strength as they do against solid teams, Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan, the hero of India’s emphatic wins over arch-rivals Pakistan by 76 runs and against South Africa by 130 runs in their two games so far said. The Pool B match between the India and United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the WACA ground is being seen as a huge mismatch, but the left-handed opener stressed on the importance of taking it seriously.

Dhawan said that they need to keep the momentum going. They will play the game the same way as they have played for other matches and play it as they have been playing all along. They will play with the same fighting ethos and keep the same intensity.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) have lost both their games, going down to Zimbabwe by 4 wickets before being edged out by 2 wickets by Ireland on Wednesday in a nail-biting match in Brisbane. Shikhar Dhawan’s match-winning knocks of 73 off 76 balls against Pakistan in Adelaide and a stunning 137 runs off 146 deliveries against the South Africans in front of more than 86,000 fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) provided a batting feast.

He added that the key is to stay relaxed and practice more. He said that it is very natural that confidence gains when someone play two good back-to back innings. He has now got used to the bounce and enjoy playing his shots.

Shikhar Dhawan said the squad will miss Coach Duncan Fletcher, who had to go to South Africa to attend the funeral of his father-in-law and will not be available for Saturday’s match. He said that they will all miss Duncan. But they will still follow the same routines at practice. He is sure he must have discussed these problems with the support staff.
