The game between Indian National Cricket Team and Pakistan has always been the best visual treats for the fans. After a fine time, the fans would once again get the chance to witness the clash in the ICC World Cup 2019. In between, the childhood coach of Virat Kohli feels there would be no competition between them.

India has a flawless track record against Pakistan in the ICC World Cup. They never gave a single chance for Pakistan team to win a single match. The coach of Virat Kohli feels that it would be the same result once again, as the Indian team has covered all the bases with t5he quality players.

“There is no doubt about that. There is no competition as India is a far superior team as compared to Pakistan. Although cricket is a game of uncertainty, on paper India is a far superior team,” the coach quoted.

Of late, Virat Kohli was under the scanner for his poor captaincy in the Indian Premier League 2019. A section of people felt that Kohli should be sacked from the captaincy. However, his childhood coach backs the Delhi lad and also believes that India might seal the victory in the ICC World Cup 2019.

“Virat is very focused regarding World Cup. If you listen to his interviews from the past two years, since then he has been dreaming about the World Cup like how he is going to play in the World Cup and what should be the strategy. So, he is very devoted and dedicated to making India win the World Cup,” Sharma said. It is a big challenge for Virat Kohli as he will be leading India for the first time in the World Cup.”

On Vijay Shankar:

The batting all-rounder has always been a scarcity for India in the International cricket. After Kapil Dev, we hardly got a player with a stature like him. After quite a time, India got a leap of faith with Hardik Pandya delivering the goods in both sections of the game. Now, they got one more player in the form of Vijay Shankar, who is a batting dominant all-rounder.

So far,  Vijay Shankar had a glorious stint with the Indian National Cricket Team. He impressed the team management with his brilliance with the bat in New Zealand and then, against Australia. Sharma also believes that the youngster would deliver.

“Vijay Shankar is an amazing player and he is ideal to play at number four. Fortunately, India has many other options as well like KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik. However, my first choice will be Vijay Shankar because along with batting he is also a good bowler in those conditions where you can except 5-6 overs from him,” he said.

Well, it would be interesting to see how the youngster approaches the upcoming showpiece event. Most probably, he will be getting the chance right in the first game to play at number 4 for the team.  And also, hopefully, Virat Kohli would have saved his best for the team.
