BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has made it clear that England’s Indian tour will commence from February 7, with the first Test match being a Day-Night Test and being played in the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Jay Shah has also stated that five T20Is will also be played at the Motera Stadium alongside the Pink-ball Test match. Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium was reincarnated this year and former US President Donald Trump paid a special visit to inaugurate the world’s largest cricket stadium.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Confirms England Tour Commences From February 7
“The first Test will start from February 7 and the day-night Test will be played in Ahmedabad at the Motera Stadium from February 24,” Shah said while inaugurating Gujarat Cricket Association’s indoor academy for young cricketers.

Shah also confirmed that all the five matches of the T20I series between India and England will be played in Motera Stadium.
“5 T20I matches will be played in Ahmedabad’s Motera stadium,” said Shah.
Team India’s Final Test Match Against Australia To End On January 19
The Indian cricket team is currently in Australia playing the Test series against the Aussies that commences from December 17. The final Test match of the series will start from January 15 and will last till January 19.
