India vs New Zealand 3rd T20: IND vs NZ Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Fantasy Cricket Tips
With an eye on maiden T20 series-victory in New Zealand, India will take on the hosts in the third T20I of the series at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Team India leads the series 2-0 with comfortable wins in first the two T20Is and should carry the form in the third T20I as well. The players have performed exceptionally well and it is the best chance for India to seal a series victory here.
Much is on the line for Black Caps and a defeat here will end their dominance over India in this format. Their bowling has been a weak link so far but they don’t have many options available on the bench as well.
The last time this ground hosted a T20I, both India and New Zealand crossed the 200-run mark and expect both the teams to pile on huge totals once again. The batsmen should enjoy bating here and the team winning the toss will surely bowl first. Kane Williamson did surprise by opting to bat first in the second T20I but he went for it due to slowed-down nature of the Eden Park’s pitch.
Here is the likely playing XI of both the teams –
Captain Virat Kohli clearly said that there will be no change in the playing XI for the third T20I. Rohit Sharma is yet to get big innings on this tour and he would be vying to score some big runs. Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant will once again sit out of playing XI.
Likely playing XI: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami
The home team does have two options on the bench but expect them to go with the same playing XI once again. New Zealand have surprisingly played Tim Seifert at number six in both the matches. That should change as he is too good a player to walk out to bat so late. Since both the openers have their places fixed, Seifert can be sent at number three.
Likely playing XI: Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson, Tim Seifert, Ross Taylor, Colin de Grandhomme, Blair Tickner, Mitchell Santner, Hamish Benett, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee
