India’s dominance is visible by going through the stats. Since 2006, West Indies Cricket Team is yet to win an ODI series against India. Pertinently, the Caribbean cricket has witnessed plenty which also saw the tussle between the players and the Cricket West Indies (CWI).

Well, for India, the phase has been outstanding with raw talent leaving a significant impact. In their respective traits, the players have proved their mettle. But some of the players couldn’t score a ton in the 50-over cricket on Caribbean shores.

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly had represented India in the multiple series in Windies. In 1997 and 2002 he had featured on Caribbean soil before featuring in the 2007 World Cup.

The southpaw ended up as a leading run-getter in his maiden appearance on Caribbean shores. While leading his team in 2002, Ganguly had a decent run in the limited-overs cricket.

Ganguly had recorded two fifties despite an early exit in the 2007 World Cup.

In nine outings, Ganguly had amassed 420 runs at an exceptional average of 52.50. However, he never managed to record a hundred in the West Indies.
