Following gruelling two-month polling for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has registered a massive victory by winning 302 seats out of 542 seats across the country on May 23. Plus, the people have shown faith in Narendra Modi, in a bid to allow him to continue as a prime minister for another five-year term. Thus, Indian cricketers have praised Modi’s dynamic leadership.

Meanwhile, the second-term has witnessed a landslide victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Also, Rahul Gandhi has accepted defeat at the hands of BJP’s Smriti Irani in Congress’ bastion Amethi. He further congratulated Modi for a remarkable victory in the recently-held elections.

Furthermore, the slogan of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikash further saw no opposition coming close to the BJP’s landmark figures.

As soon as the Election Commission of India (ECI) has revealed the results, people thronged to the streets to celebrate BJP’s victory from every nook and corner of the streets in different states of the country.

Besides, BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir has won the Delhi East seat. He has garnered 6,96,156 votes which are roughly around 55.3 per cent of votes.

Moreover, cricketers have expressed heartfelt congratulations to the BJP. Also, BJP president Amit Shah and Modi himself has expressed thanks to the nation for the support.

Despite significant issues cropping up in the country, the support to BJP is a massive statement which further saw the formation of the coalition government between NDA and Mahagathbandan at the centre in the past.

Soon after massive lead, wishes poured in from the celebrities which include cricketers. The social media platforms were flooded with congratulatory messages for BJP over historic win in Lok Sabha elections.

Thus, it means BJP will be in power as a single largest party, which in itself is a milestone in India’s democratic set-up.
