When the tragic death of young Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes, died by a bouncer, India’s apex court told the India’s cricket chief officials not to be the pall-bearers of the game in India. These two incidents have left cricket in a sad condition.

The legal officials are debating the import of the devastating scrutiny made by the two judge Supreme Court bench hearing the 2013 Indian Premier League corruption scam case, the higher authority of Indian cricket board members are producing for life after Narayanaswami Srinivasan,

Every inspection of the judges in this case is widely explained as acute charge of Narayanaswami Srinivasan and his exemption. The judges asked Narayanaswami Srinivasan some penetrating questions for which he may find it tough to give cogent answers.

The liable officials of both IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) should be penalized, not the total team, unless it is proved that the team players are in the scam with the management in those matches. Else, the management officials will be enforced to sell the teams to some franchisees so that the players do not agonize. Previously the board officials, treasurers and secretaries used their personal personnel and in some cases the board paid their earnings.

Narayanaswami Srinivasan seems to have underrated his rivals especially Lalit Modi says that he is behind the crusade and the court cases against the expel head. The other suspect, former board head Ashwin Muthiah contradicted having meeting the petitioner or any hand in it though his clarification why he himself had introverted the dispute of interest case against Narayanaswami Srinivasan was not convincing.

The Apex Court does not believe the board to react against the blunder teams managements. The judges want the retire Justice Mudgal Committee to decide on the quantum of retribution for all those named by it.

Still, most board official members are not ready to write Narayanaswami Srinivasan off in hasten. They think the apex court has already trickled a hint for him to make a choice between his Indian Premiere League team and the board chief’s post.
