IPL 2014: Praveen Kumar to replace Injured Zaheer Khan in Mumbai Indians

Defending champions Mumbai Indians who came into act after winning their successive matches at home ground after coming from UAE with 5 matches losing streaking, have signed up with Praveen Kumar to their side in place of injured Zaheer Khan.

Zaheer Khan, who caught up with a shoulder injury during game against KXIP, resulted in his ruling out of the tournament. That made the team to found a good replacement and called up Praveen Kumar a genuine quickie who had done well for National Squad.

Praveen Kumar, the Uttar Pradesh speedster has represented India in 68 ODIs, 10 T20s and 6 test matches .In IPL, Praveen played for RCB till 2010 and later played for 2013. He was unsold in this year’s auction. He is among top 20 wicket takes in IPL history with 65 wickets in 82 matches. He holds the record for delivering most maidens in IPL history (12 maidens).
