IPL 2016: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils – Match in Numbers

Mohit Camma / 17 April 2016

This match was expected to be a high-scoring one and it rightly proved so. Zaheer Khan, who is leading Delhi Daredevils this season won the toss and chose to bowl as it is their primary strength. Virat Kohli on the other end didn’t mind batting first as they have a batting line-up like no other.

Zak got Gayle in the first over but one big hitter was replaced by another as de Villiers joined Kohli in the first over itself. Both weren’t bothered by a loss of an early wicket and continued playing their natural game and put up another century stand. In the end, RCB managed to score 191 at the end of 20 overs.

Coming into chase, de Kock provided a good start for the Delhi Daredevils. He also scored the first century of the season. de Kock along with Karun Nair set up a century stand for the 3rd wicket to ensure Daredevils a win against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
