IPL 2017: Anushka Sharma Visits Injured Virat Kohli In Bangalore

With Virat Kohli working hard to regain full fitness as quickly as possible in a desperate attempt to return to the cricket field, his girlfriend Anushka Sharma paid him a surprise visit in Bangalore.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, who has missed his team’s first three games of the ongoing season of the IPL, has been on the sidelines since injuring his right shoulder during the Ranchi Test against Australia last month.

The right-handed batsman came out to bat during that Test but the BCCI has made it clear that the India skipper would not return to the field until he regains full fitness.

“The Indian Captain (Virat Kohli) will undergo rehabilitation after sustaining an injury to his right shoulder. His recovery will be assessed in the second week of April to determine an exact return to play date for IPL 2017,” a statement from the BCCI had earlier stated.

Kohli himself had said he would return to the field only when he is “120 percent fit”.

“The priority is Indian cricket with the Champions Trophy coming up and I don’t want to take any risks. I have not set any date and I will only return when I am 120 percent fit. Having said that I would like to return to the field as soon as possible,” the 28-year old had said on the sidelines of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s opening IPL encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5.

And in order to get fit as soon as possible, the India skipper has been working hard and his girlfriend has now joined him in Bangalore to give him company. According to reports, Anushka Sharma is accompanying the cricketer on all his physiotherapy sessions.

Here are few pictures showing the couple together after a physiotherapy session:
