The star of the day with the ball, Jayden Unadakt shone for his team on a record-breaking day, as he owned three records in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

First, he took his first ever hat-trick in an IPL game, secondly, he became just the second bowler to take a fifer twice in IPL after James Faulkner and thirdly, he completed his 100 wickets in the IPL.

Along with that, Unadkat also bowled a maiden over, while defending 13 runs in the last over. It was all Unadkat’s show in the middle with the left-arm pacer shining for his team on a slow wicket.

The Saurashtra bowler was happy with the fact that he clicked at the right time and also said it has been the backing from MS Dhoni and Ben Stokes that have helped him after the game, the left-arm pacer said –

“Brilliant. To get through in that low scoring match was outstanding. We are at the top of the table. All of us have worked hard, all of us have contributed and that’s how you win matches for the team. I am very happy with the result today. I am trying to keep it simple and have the backing of Smith, MS and Stokes. We have been having some terrific talks in the meetings and it is good to implement all those in the match. I have been doing well in this part of the game and I need to continue it for the team. I need to adapt to the wickets and we are playing in Delhi next, that is one of the better batting wickets in the tournament and I have to adapt to that wicket.”
