As they say ‘form is temporary, class is permanent’ and Mahendra Singh Dhoni has proved it absolutely right in the ongoing Indian Premier League match between Rising Pune Supergiant and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

Heading into this match, the former India and RPSG skipper was under immense pressure, as he had managed only 33 runs in the first four matches of the tournament.

The poor performance of his team only made the matters worse for him. Well, one of the finest players to represent India, the 35-year old does not need any big knock to prove his mettle but his latest shot will surely silence his critics for the time being.

The six that he hit off the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal rolled back the clocks to the time when the right-handed batsman sends shivers down the spine of the spinners with his monstrous sixes.

Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a length bowl to Dhoni and the explosive batsman took no time in coming down the track and launching him for a huge six that landed on the roof of the stadium. At that time, Dhoni was batting on 22 from 21 balls.

Here is a clip of that huge hit:
