Apr 1, 2018 at 8:26 PM
While churning the numbers, it gives us the solid belief that bowlers have turned out to perform far better throughout these years in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
From Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the bowlers did a splendid job for their respective franchises in the domestic professional T20 league.
The cash-rich tournament kicked off in 2008 when bowlers were on the role – to dictate terms to the batters who have bossed the game in a nutshell.
There have been many bowlers who did wonders in the season one after another, before settling in the highest ranks of the franchises.
Moreover, the bowlers solely rely on 24 balls to make most on the field while rolling over the arm and they patently did that to grab the headlines.
The incredible performance in the first-ever IPL edition from Sohail Tanvir is still afresh to the memories before Andrew Tye’s remarkable spell in 2017 did a fantastic job for the Gujarat Lions.
Here’s the list of five bowlers who have sent down most number of the dot-balls in the IPL history.
