IPL 2018: Chris Gayle, Yuzvendra Chahal Have Brotherly Moment on Instagram

Owing to the Indian Premier League (IPL) Kings XI Punjab’s (KXIP) opening batsman Chris Gayle has managed to make good friends all over the world during his distinct stints in the domestic professional Twenty20 leagues. One of the closest friends of Gayle is Yuzvendra Chahal, who’s representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The Indian spinner always proved to be a good friend of Gayle and they had featured in few funny banters over the years.

Gayle’s time at Bangalore has helped Chahal understand the big man well and both have been friends ever since.

However, like all good things come to an end, Gayle left Royal Challengers for Kings XI this season. The power-hitting southpaw has done no harm to his reputation this season. He once proved his incredible credentials with absolute top class performances for his side.

The big Jamaican saw the post and replied Chahal in the simplest way. His response read: “He miss me“.

Chahal who saw Gayle’s reply again commented saying, “@chrisgayle333 yes I’m.”

It is so nice to see two players from different countries form such a nice brotherly bond. IPL has not only brought financial stability to cricketers but also helped them make good friends across the world.

The league proved to be the template that other domestic T20 leagues soon followed and has helped in keeping up the spirit of the game.

Coming to the playoff scenarios in IPL 2018, both Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab have a good chance of qualifying for final four this year. The equation for Kings XI is much more simpler as they can win their remaining two games and qualify.

But Royal Challengers will still have to hope for other results to go their way and also win their last two IPL games.
