Mumbai Indians (MI) are on a roll, as they won three matches on a trot beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by a massive margin of 102 runs at the Eden Gardens. As a result, Mumbai jumps to the fourth spot with ten points from 11 games.

Meanwhile, batting first, Mumbai smashed hard, as they posted 210 runs on the board. Young Ishan Kishan took the attack to the opposition hammering a 21 ball-62 runs knock including five fours and six over boundaries.

Moreover, some late hitting by Ben Cutting ensured Mumbai goes past the 200-run mark.

In reply, however, Kolkata lost wickets at regular intervals, as they went short of the required run-rate. Mumbai bowlers bowled well as a unit back each other, as they restricted the host for a mere 108 runs.

The senior of the Pandya brother’s has been exceptional for the Mumbai based side. He has contributed with both bat and ball throughout this season.

Krunal remained unbeaten on eight runs returning with two for 12 in 3.1 overs. His form will boost the MI camp, as the league approaches the business end.

The experienced all-rounder from South Africa had no role to play in this match. However, he will be keen to contribute to the team’s cause if he gets an opportunity.

Ishan Kishan was brilliant today with the bat, as he led the team from the front. The youngsters have had a brilliant edition, as it is one such occasion.

The southpaw hammered 62 runs off just 21 balls including five fours and six towering sixes. His form will be a huge boost for the Mumbai set with almost every game a do-or-die situation now.

The Australian all-rounder hammered the ball all-round the park, as Mumbai crossed the 200-run mark. Cutting played a little cameo of 24 runs off nine balls before chipping in with a crucial wicket.
