IPL 2019: Danielle Wyatt Reveals Her Favourite IPL Team

England woman team’s star Danielle Wyatt has revealed her favourite Indian Premier League (IPL) team.

The twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League is now just a handful of days away. The season will get underway on March 23 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in a mouth-watering clash in Chennai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has so announced the schedule of the first two weeks only. The rest of the schedule was subject to the announcement of the election dates. With the election dates out, the BCCI is likely to announce the rest of the schedule anytime soon.

Now as the fans gear up for the much-awaited season, Danielle Wyatt has revealed her favourite IPL team is Royal Challengers Bangalore. Perhaps the reason behind it is her obsession with Royal Challengers skipper Virat Kohli. It is no secret that Wyatt is a big-time Virat Kohli fan. In fact, who can forget her famous tweet in 2014 when she had proposed Kohli to marry her. Kohli had later met Wyatt and had given her a bat as a present.

Wyatt was asked by a fan on Twitter about her favourite team and she was quick to say::

“RCB RCB ?”

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking to bounce back after the disastrous outing in the last edition of the IPL. After a dismal start to the season, they had managed a brief recovery in the second half. After two wins in the first seven fixtures, they managed double the amount of success in the next seven, but that still wasn’t enough. They eventually failed to make it to the playoffs, finishing at sixth position.

The Royal Challengers are one of the only three clubs to have never won the league. They have qualified for three finals so far but are yet to lay their hands on the trophy.
