IPL 2019: Jasprit Bumrah Likely to be Available for Next Match Against Royal Challengers Bangalore

Mumbai Indians speedster Jasprit Bumrah has declared himself fit and raring to go for the upcoming match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore which is slated to be played on 28th December. In a video shared by Bumrah on his twitter handle, he can be seen practising in full throttle. In all likelihood, Bumrah is expected to be fit for the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

It was during Mumbai Indians’ opening game in IPL 12 that Bumrah sustained an injury. It was during the last of Delhi Capitals’ innings when Bumrah fell on his shoulders and sustained the injury. Mumbai Indians team management conceded that the injury wasn’t serious. However, Bumrah didn’t travel with the team to Bengaluru which raised speculations about his participation in the next match.

Bumrah's injury gives Kohli sleepless night, pacer fit

However, after the video shared by Bumrah himself, I would like to believe that he will be available for Mumbai Indians’ next match. Over the last couple of years, Jasprit Bumrah has emerged as one of the finest bowlers in the world across all formats of the game. Bumrah first rose into prominence for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL four years ago.

Since then Bumrah has gone on to lead the Indian pace attack in all 3 formats of the game. He made his Test debut during the tour of South Africa and made an impression in his maiden series. Since then he has only played a few matches but has already made himself the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack.

Jasprit Bumrah will be one of the most important members of the Indian squad during the 2019 World Cup and he needs to be handled carefully by the Mumbai Indians team management. The whole of India was under severe pressure when Bumrah fell on his shoulders.

Mumbai Indias play their next match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on 28th March. Without a doubt, the match is expected to be a humdinger. Both teams started off with defeats in their first match. Hence they will look to make a comeback and register their first win of the tournament.
