Finally, Virat Kohli tasted success in the Indian Premier League 2019. It needed a good 5-day break for them to be back on the track in the tournament. Though it is their first victory, it looked like players are more determined to win the game at any cost for the team. Meanwhile, the skipper shares the winning moments on Twitter.
On Sunday morning, Virat Kohli took to Twitter sharing the pictures of the last night match. He added a caption to his image quoting that it was a good win for the team. Virat Kohli shared a picture of him with a smiling face and then few of those important moments of the game.
Virat Kohli scored 67:
Coming to the last night game, initially, it was Virat Kohli, who won the toss, elected to bowl first. The big man Chris Gayle came to the party for Kings XI Punjab at PCA stadium against Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, none of the batsmen succeeded in stitching a good partnership with him, which saw Royal Challengers Bangalore on the driver seat.
In reply, the skipper Virat Kohli played an anchor role for the team while AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis finished things in style. Some poor fielding from the Punjab players also helped the cause for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In between, Virat Kohli completed a fine half-century.

At one stage, Royal Challengers looked like winning the game pretty easily. But, the wicket of Virat at the crucial stage made things look balanced for both the sides. However, the cameo from Marcus Stoinis and the sublime hitting from AB de Villiers changed the course of the match.
Coming to the progress of RCB in the tournament, they managed to find one victory in their 7 games so far. They have been pretty close to the victory in at least three games but unfortunately, ended up on the wrong side for obvious reasons.
Now, they got 2 points in their kitty and will travel Wankhede Stadium to take on Mumbai Indians in their next game on Monday.
