Buzz for next year IPL season has started as the auction date is also near. The new IPL auction will be held on 19th December. This time the auction is small.
In the study, it is noticed that the brand value of IPL has increased by 7% from the last time. The IPL franchises also have growth in the value. The two major fighters of the title- Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have huge growth in their values.
The team management of the franchises has already changed the supporting staff. While this time many international cricketers are available, this will prove a loss to some Indian players who showed lower performance in last season.
Here are the five Indian players who could go unsold in IPL 2020:
The left-arm pacer Barinder Sran‘s talent was caught by Rahul Dravid which gave him the contract for Rajasthan Royals in 2015. He made the debut in IPL in 2015 and became the crucial part of the league in next season.
In 2016, he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad where he impressed everyone with his bowling. He picked 14 wickets in 14 matches at an economy of 8.34. His part was important in SRH’s title-winning journey. After his consistent performance, he got the position in the Indian team but was also dropped from the team soon. He has played 6 ODIs and 2 T20Is for India.
He has also played for Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. In 2019, Sran played for Mumbai Indians as he was bought for Rs. 3.4 crore. In total, he has played 24 matches and picked 18 wickets in IPL.
