There is finally some good news in the Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) camp after the players and support staff were tested negative for COVID-19. The CSK squad have got a few worries since they’ve reached UAE, with the first being 13 members of the staff including two players testing positive, which has increased their initial quarantine to seven more days. The two players who tested positive have been named as Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
It has further delayed their training program for the IPL and they will now get lesser time to train than their rivals. The second problem was Raina deciding to go back home leaving the camp due to personal reasons.

CSK hope to sort out stuff ASAP and begin training
Chennai Super Kings camp has been affected by the coronavirus with 13 members being tested positive. They breathed a sigh of relief as the latest test didn’t have any more members turn positive. If no one turns positive in the next test on 3rd September the team will get clearance to train from 5th September.
“We hope that everything will be sorted out over the next few days and we will be able to come up with our best performance in the IPL,” a source told The Times of India
Deepak Chahar and Rututraj Gaikwad who tested positive will stay in quarantine till 12th of September and will join the training then.

Faf du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi reach UAE
