When We Try To Go Against Surya, We Want To Go Simple… – Mohit Sharma

Mohit Sharma felt that Suryakumar Yadav was batting at his absolute best when he walked on to bowl and said that he wanted to keep thing simple as the Indian 360-degree batter always have three to four shots for a single ball and reckons that it is always difficult to execute some shots from the length balls.

“I felt that if Surya is ahead of me, we are not going to experiment with too many things. When we try to go against Surya, we want to go simple as he must be having three-four shots in his mind. Sometimes you need to bowl length balls as it does not easy to execute those shots of a length always. GT has lost such matches and also won such kinds of matches,” Mohit Sharma added.

The Indian pacer executed his slower ones very well against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians as he rattled the Rohit Sharma-led side’s middle order and went on to clean the MI lower order batters to finish the game in 18.2 overs for the defending champions.
