IPL Auction 2017: Sunrisers Hyderabad Bags Rashid Khan For Four Crore

As the 10th edition of Indian Premier League Auction sprung another surprise with Sunrisers Hyderabad picking potential leg-spinner Rashid Khan after the base price of 50 lakh which rocketed to four crore as the bid took place between Mumbai Indians and Hyderabad.
Rashid, who is listed at the fifth position in the MRF Tyres ICC Twenty20 Rankings with 701 points.
He could play the role of a lead spinner for SRH as he has the ability to pick up wickets while giving away the least amount of runs.
He become the second pick for Hyderabad from Afghanistan after his teammate and all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, who was sold at the base price of 30 lakh.
Rashid has proved his worth in the team by giving his best with the ball. He was among the six Associate Nation players who made into the final list of IPL Players’ Auction 2017.
Currently, he is with the Afghanistan team for the ongoing five-match One-day International series where he bowled splendidly well to help his side to lead the series 2-0.
In 21 Twenty20 Internationals, Rashid bagged 31 wickets at an average of 16.06.
The Nangarhar-born Rashid has played 30 T20 matches in which he has claimed 47 wickets at an average of 14.80
