The auction for ninth the edition of Indian Premier League will take place in Bangalore. Two new teams – Pune and Gujarat and six other team will bid to make a balanced team. There are big names who were released by their franchise. Some could prove their worth while some teams recalled them to buy some other young talent to fulfill their bill. With the highest cap of the day, the auction is 37 core. None of the players will get big money like the previous season as most of the teams released only a few players and they will buy a few to make a complete six men squads.

So, now the question is who will be the highest priced players

Jos Buttler

This 25-year-old wicketkeeper batsman is rising in international cricket rapidly for his ability play big innings off fewer balls. He has become a next big thing in English cricket. He is currently 25. He already earned the reputation of as a clean hitter of the ball. In Dubai he played a 52 ball 116 which is the fastest hundred by an English batsman ever. And just a few days back he hit a 76 ball 105. Delhi DareDevils who has the highest money in their coffers might bid for him to buy him as a genuine wicket-keeper batsman.

Kevin Pietersen

The out of favour English cricketer has been plying his trade in the franchise-based T20 league across the globe. In recent time, he played in Ram Slam, Caribbean Premier League T20 and just recently he played some swashbuckling innings in Big Blas League T20 for Melbourne Stars in Australia. Franchises like Sun Riser Hyderabad may bid for him.


Ashish Nehra

This veteran Indian pacer last edition of IPL has taken 22 wickets in 16 matches. For his performance in IPL, he recalled for the World T20 squad and Asia Cup. In the last edition, he played for now suspended Chennai Super Kings. In Australia, he has bowled well that ensured an Asia Cup and World T20 berth. Pune and Gujarat might fight for hm.

Kagiso Rabada

The South African bowling sensation has become an integral part of the South African bowling side. In the absence of Dale Steyn he has extremely well. In the ODI series against India in India, he bowled tremendously well. Recently he bowled out England in the final Test. So, all the franchises will eye for him.

Shane Watson

The Australian allrounder in the final T20 of the against India he scored 124 so this will obviously consider by the franchise. In the Big Bash league as well he has done quite well for Sydney Thunder the champion of the Big Bash.
