Sanju Samson’s effort went into vain:
Sanju Samson’s brilliant effort, however, could not hand over victory to Rajasthan Royals. KKR posted a fighting target of 175 runs. In reply, the wickets of RR fell like a pack of cards. Samson, who was the star for RR in their last two victories, lost his wickets after scoring just eight runs in nine deliveries.
KKR with their brilliant bowling effort restricted the Royals at 139, winning their consecutive two matches. On the other hand, RR faced their first defeat in IPL 2020.
Sanju Samson was adjudged as the man of the match in the first and second matches of RR as he scored 74 and 85 runs respectively.
