Ishant Sharma names his best bowling spell:

In the recent interview with Cricbuzz, Ishant Sharma expressed that his best bowling spell came recently against New Zealand while he named Lord’s spell as his personal best.

“If you see the kind of performances that I am putting in recent times, those are much better spells than what I bowled to Ponting. The Lord’s spell was a much better spell,” told the pace spearhead for Virat Kohli-led Team India in whites.

In the Two match Test series against New Zealand, he was the highest wicket-taker for the team in the first Test while he sustained an injury ahead of the second Test match.

He was the only Indian bowler who showed the right temperament in the New Zeland pitches. However, he was unable to contribute in the second and final Test match because of the injury.

Earlier, he got an injury during the match in Ranji Trophy 2019-20. Following which, he went under-recovery period in NCA.

Currently, Ishant is recovering from his ankle injury
