Jatin Sapru Has Fun At Mayanti Langer’s Expense For Her Karwachauth Ritual

Just like the cricketers, who travel along everywhere, the hosts’ and commentary team also stays together during tour time. They hang out with each other, eat together and share jokes together, just any other co-workers. It’s all about having fun while working.
If lucky, things can be a bit more exciting if your colleagues happen to be as funny as Jatin Sapru is most of the times. His observational one-liners during his chats with cricket experts during the pre-match and post-match shows are very amusing and favourite among fans.
Mayanti Langer was recently at the receiving end one of his puns during a coffee break after the two along with Arjun Pandit sat down for a coffee break after reaching Guwahati.
He wrote:
“Two coffees and a Karvachauth… Guwahati – Here we come!”
This ‘punny’ line had his everyone laughing.
Langer, who supposedly was observing a Karwachauth fast, gave Sapru a perfect opportunity to crack a mild joke and lighten up the mood.
Guwahati Welcomes Team India
The capital city of Assam, Guwahati, is all prepared witness their first ever international cricket match after a gap of seven years when India will take on Australia today in the 2nd T20I at the Barasapara Cricket Stadium. Close to thousand fans gathered at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to receive both the sides.
Guwahati hosted its last international match way back on November 28, 2010, when India beat New Zealand by 40 runs in an ODI.
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) also has moved from the Nehru Stadium, and 37,000 capacity Barsapara stadium now has become the new cricketing destination of the city.
Tickets for the match have been sold out well in advance, and there is a long demand for more but ACA secretary Pradip Buragohain sounded helpless.
There will be an official opening of the ACA Barsapara Stadium by Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal ahead of the match, and many VVIPs including governor Jagdish Mukhi are invited.
India are 1-0 up in the series after the win in Ranchi on Saturday and would look to seal the series here before the two teams head to Hyderabad for the last match.
