His close friends and cricketers are congratulating the duo and showering their blessings on the lovely couple.
Jaydev Unadkat’s commendable Ranji Trophy 2019-20 season:
The pacer’s performance in the whole tournament was admirable. He was the saviour for his team in every difficult situation. But his best spell came in the finals against Bengal and all of his efforts paid off when his team was declared as the winner of the Ranji Trophy 2019-20 season.
Jaydev scalped 67 wickets in the tournament and became the highest wicket-taker of this particular season.
Besides, he also scalped the second-highest number of wickets in a single Ranji season. He just falls one wicket short to equal the record that is currently held by Bihar’s Ashutosh Aman, who got 68 wickets in the 2018-19 season.
Unadkat was not able to break the record but he became the highest among the pacers. The previous highest was by Doda Ganesh, who had bagged 62 wickets in a Ranji season.
The 28-year-old Unadkat would surely have got the attention of selectors and this will surely reopen the gates for him in Team India.
