Kings XI Punjab players have blasted the media reports that claimed that Australian player Shaun Marsh was sent back home due to an alleged brawl inside the dressing room.
They rubbished the rumours vehemently and also lashed at Indian journalists for spreading out such a baseless news. The players took to social media to express their anger.
The left-hander was ruled out for the remainder of this edition of the IPL with a back injury. But when some reports emerged  claiming that Marsh went back home due to an alleged altercation with a teammate inside the dressing room, Marsh’s compatriot Glenn Maxwell took to twitter to express his anger.

His tweet read,” Hahaha just saw a report that was sent home because of a brawl with a KXIP teammate, not because of injury…the poor bloke was in agony on the field last game he played, and then this rubbish comes out!

Maxwell’s compatriot Mitchell Johnson too denied the story

Marsh KXIP teammate David Miller too expressed his surprise on twitter

Later, Maxwell posted a tweet to clarify that everything was well inside the KXIP dressing room.

KXIP’s chances of qualifying for the playoffs hangs in balance. Lying at the bottom of the table, they will play against Mumbai Indians on May 13.
