As a heavy rain forced Virat Kohli to abandon his practice session on Monday, India’s Test captain decided to enjoy his time out playing an all-time favourite video game on Playstation.
Kohli began his training on Saturday ahead of the upcoming West Indies tour, but couldn’t continue on Monday and so took to Twitter to share his image playing the video game.
“When it is raining outside & you are playing PlayStation & your favorite game on it ? #Unchartered4 #RainyDay” Kohli tweeted.

On Saturday also, Kohli tweeted a picture of himself with a kit bag in his car while going for a training session.
“Guess who is back. On my way for my first net session. And that’s how I feel; that good old feeling #Grateful,” Kohli tweeted.
He has been pro-active on social media these days while enjoying his vacation. On Father’s Day, Kohli shared an emotional post on social media; how much his father meant to him. Along with a childhood image with his dad, he put the following caption to the post:
How I wish I could wish you a very happy fathers day in person. The strongest person I’ve ever known. To all the fathers I just want to wish you a happy fathers day. #pillarsofstrength
You have to remember that his father, Prem, didn’t get to see his son play for India. Kohli lost him while playing a match for Delhi in 2006. He attended the funeral and then came back to bail his team out of trouble.
Well, there is no doubt that if his father is watching from heaven, Prem couldn’t be prouder of the man his son has become now. Kohli is now India’s Test skipper, the best batsman in the team and set to take over the reins in ODIs and T20Is as well.
India will play two warm-up matches before the four-match Test series against West Indies during their 49-day campaign in the Caribbean.
The Windies tour will commence with a two-day practice match from July 9 in St. Kitts, after that a three-day warm-up match from July 14 will be played. The three-day warm-up match will also be played at the same venue.
The first Test will start on July 21 at the Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda while the second will be from July 30 at the Sabina Park in Jamaica.
