Dec 2, 2017 at 3:07 PM
Murali Vijay played yet another outstanding innings to score his consecutive century on his return to Test match cricket against Sri Lanka during the third Test in Delhi.
Murali Vijay opened with Shikhar Dhawan and looked in complete control of his innings, as he played some beautiful looking shots. With this century, Vijay became the second India opener to score three or more hundred in a calendar year after Virender Sehwag. It was Vijay’s 11th Test hundred.
On the other hand, Indian skipper continued his rich vein of form, as he scored his 20th Test century in the third Test at his home ground in Delhi. Kohli scored his fifth double hundred in the previous Test and backed it up with another ton in this Test.
Let’s have a look at how Twitter reacted to these Knocks.

When two eye-catching batsmen bat through a session, it can be fun to watch. But apart from 2-3 balls, neither Vijay nor Kohli had any opposition

Sometimes you get to see a batsman in complete control of a situation, almost looking invincible. At this stage, Virat Kohli is in that zone.

International hundred no. 52 for Virat Kohli – now only 48 short of Sachin. BTW Sachin had scored 60 hundreds at his age (at 7.20 innings/hundred). Virat has taken 6.73 innings for each hundred.#INDvSL #INDvsSL

Century for @imVkohli, first at his home, Delhi. Keeps on scoring runs for fun, don't talk about the opposition, many play weak teams often, not everyone scores this consistently. Make most of what you face. Bat on. #INDvSL
