In the latest ICC ODI batsmen rankings announced today, it was great news for Indian fans as three of top ten batsmen are Indian players. In the list of top 10 batsmen in the world, 3 batsmen are from India, 3 from South Africa, 2 from New Zealand and 1 each from Sri Lanka and England.

Despite AB De Villiers not having a good tri-series tournament, AB De Villiers is still placed at number 1 rankings with 887 points. The second place is occupied by Indian star batsmen Virat Kohli who is currently at 813 points.

South African top quality batsmen Hashim Amla is placed at number 3 who did not perform according to expectations is currently at 778 points.

The fourth place is being occupied by New Zealand star player Kane Williamson.  The fifth place has been confirmed by Martin Guptill who is just 1 point behind Kane Williamson.

The sixth place is occupied by Indian star opener Rohit Sharma who is just 1 point behind Martin Guptill. Sri Lankan veteran player TM Dilshan is placed at 7th place with 741 points.

The 8th place is occupied by another Indian opener Dhawan who has 737 points. South Africa young opener De Kock is at 9th place with is just 2 points behind Dhawan. De Kock has 735 points .

The 10th place is occupied by England star player Joe Root who has 725 points.

David Warner who has been in brilliant form does not hold a spot in the top 10 rankings for ODI batsmen.

In the ODI team rankings, after winning the tri-series, Australia extends their lead at the top. India maintains their  3rd in the team rankings and South Africa slips to 4th in the rankings. Here we look at the latest ICC ODI batsmen rankings.

While in the top ten rankings for bowlers, no Indian bowler is there in ODI
