12 Noon: BCCI raises in SC issue of its autonomy in case two-judge panel directs them to change rules over conflict of interest. BCCI opposes Srinivasan’s proposal to let the proposed two-judge panel make corrections in rules regarding conflict of interest.

11:40 AM: If elected BCCI president, Srinivasan assures Supreme Court to stay out of BCCI Annual General Meetings and IPL related matters till his name is cleared.

11:30 AM: Supreme Court gives N.Srinivasan & BCCI four options if they don’t want court to issue adverse orders. Here are those orders: 

1. Srinivasan to withdraw from BCCI.

2. New committee to take action against those named by Mudgal panel.

3. BCCI governing council to take action

4. Mudgal panel takes action

The Court also gave time till 2 PM for BCCI and N. Srinivasan to make their decision. If the Court does not find the response satisfactory, it could pass its own order and force the BCCI to act.

11:47 AM: According to Headlines Today, the Court has told the BCCI that reorganising the board without Srinivasan might be the best option given the conflicts of interest that run right through it. No other media house is reporting this news at the moment though.

3:00 PM: The Supreme Court has rejected all of the options put forward by the BCCI and N. Srinivasan. The court has said it has to be an independent body that decides on the punishment for CSK and Meiyappan. It can’t be any body related to the BCCI.

4:00 PM: The Supreme Court adjourns the hearing to tomorrow.
