Lucknow Super Giants Playing 11 (LSG Playing XI) & Punjab Kings Playing 11 (PBKS Playing XI), IPL 2024, Match 11: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be taking on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the eleventh game of the ongoing IPL 2024. The LSG vs PBKS game is scheduled to be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday (March 29).

LSG and PBKS will be taking on each other after losing their respective last games. While LSG have played just one game so far and ended up losing it against Rajasthan Royals, PBKS have played two so far and have won one, lost one.

PBKS began their season with a 4-wicket win over Delhi Capitals before losing against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Before the game between LSG and PBKS gets underway, we are taking a look at the probable playing elevens of both the teams.

LSG Playing XI:

Openers: KL Rahul (c & wk), Quinton de Kock

The onus will be on KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock to provide a good start to the Lucknow-based outfit in the upcoming game. De Kock was out for just 4 against RR and would be looking to make amends. On the other hand, Rahul scored a fifty but failed to take his team over the line.

Barring Nicholas Pooran, LSG’s middle-order batters had a poor outing in the last game. While Pooran scored an unbeaten 64 off 41 balls, the likes of Ayush Badoni (1), Devdutt Padikkal (0) and Marcus Stoinis (3) failed to get going. Krunal Pandya scored an unbeaten 3 but impressed with the ball, conceding only 19 runs in his four overs.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Naveen-ul-Haq, Yash Thakur

LSG’s frontline bowlers endured a tough outing against RR and will be looking to bounce back against PBKS. While Ravi Bishnoi conceded 38 runs in his four overs, Mohsin Khan gave away 45 in his 4. Yash Thakur, on the other hand, conceded 43 runs in just 3 overs. Naveen-ul-Haq picked up two wickets but he too gave away 41 runs.

PBKS Playing XI:

Openers: Shikhar Dhawan (c), Jonny Bairstow

PBKS have two of the best openers in the league in the form of Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow but they are yet to fire together. Dhawan got the starts in both the last games but failed to convert them into big scores and was out for 22 and 45. On the other hand, Bairstow has registered scores of 9 and 8 so far.

Middle-order batters and allrounders: Prabhsimran Singh, Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Liam Livingstone, Shashank Singh

In the last game against RCB, all of PBKS’ middle-order batters got the starts but they failed to score big and will be looking to make amends against LSG. While Prabhsimran Singh scored 25, Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone scored 17 and 23 respectively. Jitesh Sharma was out for 27 while Shashank Singh played a fine unbeaten cameo of 21 runs from 8 balls.

Bowlers: Harpreet Brar, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar

Harpreet Brar had a fine outing in the previous game as he picked up 2 wickets while giving away just 13 runs in four overs. On the the other hand, Harshal Patel struggled and conceded 45 runs. Kagiso Rabada had a good outing as well as he picked up 2 wickets for 23 runs while Chahar bowled just one over for 16 runs.
