Star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has seemingly hit back at Urvashi Rautela after the latter recently sparked a big controversy with her comments in an interview. Pant and Rautela first made it to the news headlines together in 2018 when rumours of their alleged relationship first surfaced. It all started when they were spotted together after dinner or lunch dates.
The entire episode, however, ended on a very ugly note as reports emerged that Pant had blocked Rautela on WhatsApp. Later in 2019, Pant brought an end to all the links with Rautela by publicly announcing his relationship with Isha Negi. But Pant and Rautela have made it to the news together once again after a recent interview of the actress went viral.

In the interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rautela did not take Pant’s name and instead addressed him by his initials RP. She claimed how RP waited for her in the hotel lobby for hours but she could not meet him because of her busy schedule. Not only that, RP even called her 16-17 times on the mobile phone but did not get any response.

With Rautela’s interview going viral, Pant could not stop himself from hitting back at her. The India star took to Instagram to made it clear that the actress was lying. In a cryptic post on his Instagram story, Pant took an indirect dig at Rautela. The cricketer insisted that Rautela lied in her interview for fame and name as he wrote:
“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them. #merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai.” (The two hashtags mean- leave me alone sister and there is a limit to lying).
