Mitchell Johnson Makes Absurd Suggestion, Wants Ajinkya Rahane to Stay As Captain

Former Australia speedster Mitchell Johnson has come up with a very strange suggestion for team India, after Australia’s crushing eight wicket loss in the fourth Test in Dharamsala. Johnson, who has been quite vocal since the start of the series, states that stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane should replace Kohli and assigned a permanent role as the captain.
He tweeted: “Rahane should stay captain! It was a tough series but I believe it should stay on the field with the players.”

As it can be seen in the tweet, the motivation behind this illogical suggestion has steamed out of the recent article published by Cricket Australia. The article highlights Kohli’s ‘negligible impact with bat and the straightforward words spoken during a post-match conference.
The Indian skipper mentioned clearly that his relationship with Australia won’t be the same as it was before. He declared that the friendly thoughts about his Aussie mates have changed drastically.
“No, it has changed,” Kohli told a post-match media conference when asked if he stood by his affirmation of friendly rivalry made earlier in the series.
“I thought that was the case, but it has changed for sure. As I said, in the heat of the battle you want to be competitive but I’ve been proven wrong.”
“The thing I said before the first Test, that has certainly changed and you won’t hear me say that ever again.”
This isn’t the first time Johnson has miscalculated Kohli’s capability. Before the start of the Dharamsala Test, the former left-arm quick felt that the Delhi lad was becoming over-aggressive and was slowly losing his focus.
