Mohammad Shahzad Surpasses Virat Kohli To Become Fourth Highest Run Getter In T20Is

Afghanistan cricketer Mohammad Shehzad has managed to surpass India’s run machine Virat Kohli to become the fourth highest run scorer in T20 internationals after scoring an impressive .
The 29-year old has scored an well paced 72 run knock in just 43 balls to help Afghanistan win in the third T20I match against Ireland in Greater Noida as Afghanistan won the series comfortably by 3-0.
During the process, the hard hitting right hander has become the fourth highest run scorer in the shortest format as he managed to eclipse Virat Kohli’s tally of 1709 runs.
Shahzad has now amasses 1749 T20I runs in just 59 T20I games as he is one of the best players in the world in the shortest format and have helped Afghanistan in many memorable wins.
New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum is by far the best T20 player the world has seen till date and has been the top run getter in the format as well as he managed to score 2140 runs in his illustrious career.
Sri Lanka’s Dilshan is the second highest run getter as he managed 1889 runs in 80 T20Is while Martin Guptill of New Zealand have so far scored 1806 T20I runs in 61 matches in his career.
