MS Dhoni fined for violating traffic rules in Ranchi

It is no secret that the World Cup winning captain from India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, likes not just playing cricket but has a deep love towards motorcycles which according to him get him through sad times.

On Tuesday, The police from MS Dhoni’s town Ranchi held him liable for violation of a traffic rule. The skipper was fined Rs 450 by the Ranchi police. It is said that the Bullet motorcycle that Dhoni was riding did not have any number plates and that the fine of 450 was in this regard.

The superintendent of police from Ranchi Karthik S confirmed the fine on MS Dhoni and added that a rule was launched to eradicate stolen vehicles and that unregistered and missing number plates would be easier to recognize this way. He also added that MS Dhoni who had a Bullet without any number plates was fined on Tuesday for this violation.

Karthik also added that he had no problem from the captain’s side and that Dhoni pledged to cooperate fully with the Ranchi police and that the drive against unregistered and missing  number plates was supported to the fullest extent by the skipper who plays for the Chennai Super Kings in the eighth edition of IPL.
