The former India skipper MS Dhoni is on sabbatical leave ever since the conclusion of the World Cup 2019 in England. Although he fairly scored a stunning 50 in the semi-finals, India lost the game by mere 18 runs against Kiwis. And right after the premiere event, Dhoni has been off of the cricket arena. However, the wicketkeeper-batsman has been engaged in several off-field activities.
On Wednesday, Dhoni was seen at the inauguration ceremony of two new facilities at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) in Ranchi. He attended the event with Jharkhand Chief Minister, Hemant Soren.
However, the ex-skipper of the India team was in his best mood that he even tried to whistle using spring onions during the event.

The veteran Indian batsman, being the true sportsman, did not give up and kept trying to whistle through the spring onions. After trying it for a while, Dhoni asked a boy if he wanted to give it a try.
The 39-year-old Dhoni was, later, heard joking with the officials about what the boy must be thinking of the seniors playing weird games.
He said to the officials, “Ye bhi sochega bhaiya log kaisa kaisa game khelte hain (he too will think what are these weird games these guys play).”

Earlier, Dhoni had been on sabbatical leave to spend some time with the Indian paramilitary forces.
Meanwhile, he was also seen at a golf event in the US, whereas, he also attended an event at the launch of the Panerai watches as their brand ambassador.
On the other hand, Dhoni’s continuous disappearance from the cricket field has led the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to omit his name from the central contract list for 2019-2020.
While this raised several eyebrows on Dhoni’s possible retirement from cricket, he was seen practising at the Jharkhand Stadium. Dhoni has started to prepare for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) that will possibly decide his fate for the much-awaited 2020 World T20.
