On Thursday Raghubar Das, Jharkhand Chief Minister declared Rupees one lakh for the remedy of ill Chanchal Bhattacharya, who is a former coach of India cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Raghubar Das said the experienced coach would get the monetary help from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, stated an official release.

Wishing him speedy recuperation, Raghubar Das said if required he would also give aid in his personal capacity.

The official release stated that Chanchal Bhattacharya is ill for over one year. He is known as the ‘guru’ of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, whom he coached during his susceptible years of cricket.

Chanchal Bhattacharya, who claims to have induced Mahendra Singh Dhoni to take up cricket over his first love football during a district level cricket tournament, is keenly following India’s crusade in the current International Cricket Council World Cup.

Chanchal Bhattacharya said that India are two games away from the desired World Cup. He is praying to the Almighty that India repeats history. He also congratulated Team India entering the semi-final after defeating Bangladesh earlier in the day.
