Who will select the squad for South Africa?
Besides, Prasad is serving the last period of his term as a selector. He will be leaving the post after the selection of new members.
BCCI’s president Sourav Ganguly had said that the new selection committee will be picking the squad for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa. Although there is no news about the new development, as of now.
When asked whether his selection team would be picking the squad or the upcoming ODI series against South Africa, Prasad said:
“I have no idea about that, we will have to wait for the instructions from the secretary and BCCI president. I am not in a position to answer this”.
Prasad had also commented on Virat Kohli’s current poor performance against New Zealand on the tour. According to the former Indian cricketer, the legends like Kohli are not judged by some poor innings.
